Job Overview
You will be responsible for supervising detainees, ensuring their well-being, and enforcing facility policies with professionalism and integrity.
Responsibilities
- Monitor detainees through CCTV surveillance systems to ensure safety and compliance with facility rules.
- Conduct regular patrols of detention areas to observe behavior and identify potential issues or security breaches.
- Respond promptly to incidents or disturbances, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations.
- Maintain accurate records by writing detailed reports on detainee behavior, incidents, and daily activities.
- Enforce facility policies by supervising detainee movements, searches, and interactions with staff and visitors.
- Administer first aid or CPR when necessary to provide immediate assistance in emergencies.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or transfers, ensuring proper procedures are followed.
Requirements
- No experience necessary.
- Must pass a drug test! (A Medical Marijuana card will not forgive a failed drug test)
- Must pass a background check! (We cannot hire felons, or those with certain serious misdemeanors)
- Strong communication skills with the ability to handle stressful situations calmly and professionally.
- Work 12 hour shifts 7-7 with a 3 day weekend every other week. Shifts include days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to legal and procedural standards.
Pay: $2,800.00 per month
