About the Role
We are looking for a talented Maintenance Technician to become a key member of our manufacturing operations. Your primary focus will be on the upkeep, diagnostics, and restoration of our facility and production assets to guarantee peak operational efficiency and reduced idle time. This position demands a practical approach, utilizing your expertise in mechanical and electrical systems to support our high-output manufacturing setting.
Core Duties

Identify and resolve issues within pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical production systems.

Execute routine preventative maintenance tasks on all manufacturing machinery according to the established schedule.

Provide rapid response to machinery failures to help maintain consistent production output.

Keep precise records of all maintenance activities within our CMMS platform.

Oversee the setup and integration of new machinery or upgrades to existing systems.

Collaborate with production and engineering staff to enhance the overall reliability and performance of our equipment.

Uphold a secure workplace by strictly following all safety protocols, including PPE usage and Lockout/Tagout procedures.

Support general facility upkeep, including plumbing, lighting, HVAC, and structural repairs.

Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to cross-departmental projects.
Requirements
Essential Qualifications

Completion of a high school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of two years working in an industrial maintenance capacity.

Proficiency in interpreting electrical schematics and troubleshooting mechanical systems.

Capability to analyze equipment manuals, technical diagrams, and blueprints.

Hands-on experience with motors, sensors, conveyors, VFDs, and PLCs.

Physical ability to stand for extended durations, lift over 50 pounds, and operate in diverse work environments.

Flexibility to accommodate overtime hours and varying shift schedules.
Desired Skills

Technical certification or an Associate degree in Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related discipline.

Background in high-speed packaging or plastic manufacturing sectors.

Familiarity with 5S methodology, OSHA regulations, and NFPA 70E standards.
