Overview
Mountain Transport is looking for Jack & Slide Laborer. In this role, you will be an essential part of the crew, assisting with heavy equipment operation, site preparation, and paving activities. We are looking for someone with a go-getter attitude and willingness to learn who will ensure safety and quality standards are met. This is an exciting opportunity to develop hands-on skills in construction and heavy equipment operation within a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Assist with the operation of heavy machinery such as forklifts and construction cranes.
- Help with site cleanup, material handling, and organization of tools and equipment on construction sites.
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure work environment for all team members.
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently, ensuring project timelines are met.
- Perform routine inspections of equipment and report any maintenance needs or safety concerns promptly.
Requirements:
- Must be at least 23 years of age
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
- Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean background no DUI's or major traffic accidents within the last 5 years; Forklift certification is a plus.
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Prolonged periods of walking
- Must be able to lift 75 pounds regularly.
- Ability to navigate both construction sites and Mountain Crane's office space.
