We are seeking an energetic and reliable Construction Material Delivery Driver to join our team! Responsibilities
- Safely operate pick up trucks with trailers and other commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and company policies
- Load, secure, and unload construction materials using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, forklifts, or other equipment as needed
- Plan efficient delivery routes to meet deadlines while maintaining safety standards
- Deliver construction supplies directly to job sites, verifying delivery accuracy and completeness
- Follow safe lifting practices when moving heavy or bulky items to prevent injuries
- Complete all necessary paperwork, logs, and delivery documentation accurately and promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably within a construction or warehouse environment
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) is a plus but not mandatory
- Experience operating pick up trucks with trailers or similar commercial vehicles.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations related to commercial driving and weight handling in the workplace
- Ability to lift heavy loads safely and perform manual handling tasks regularly
- Familiarity with route driving, load & unload procedures, and moving materials efficiently on-site
- Experience using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other material handling equipment is desirable
