Worcester Child Development Head Start is seeking a Teacher to join its Reggio Emilia-inspired program, where children's curiosity drives learning and families are valued partners in the work. The program serves preschool children and their families throughout the city, with classrooms that reflect the many languages and cultures they bring. Leading the classroom in partnership with a Teacher Assistant, the Teacher develops and leads a weekly emergent curriculum that aligns with the Head Start Early Learning Outcomes Framework, along with a language and literacy curriculum grounded in Core Knowledge Language Arts (CKLA). This role also involves maintaining a safe, welcoming classroom environment that reflects children's work, documenting each child's growth, and partnering closely with the teaching team and families through home visits, conferences, and ongoing communication.We are looking for a candidate with a B.A.
in Early Childhood Education or a related field, along with experience working with young children.
