Multi-Trade Maintenance Technician (All Levels)
Pay: Based on experience
Schedule: Must be available for all shifts
Hours: 5:00am – 5:00pm or 5:00pm – 5:00am
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Maintenance Technician to support production by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment. This position is available for multiple experience levels, with placement and pay determined by technical knowledge, experience, and skill set.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities, experience with preventative maintenance, and the ability to safely diagnose and repair equipment issues. Higher-level technicians will take on additional responsibilities including advanced troubleshooting, PLC/HMI support, continuous improvement projects, and team support.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues
- Complete welding and fabrication tasks as needed
- Read and interpret mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints
- Enter maintenance data accurately into maintenance systems
- Support equipment reliability and reduce downtime
- Assist with root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts
- Modify PLC/HMI programs (based on experience level)
- Train and support team members (based on experience level)
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (higher levels require additional experience)
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, and motor controls
- Ability to read and understand technical prints and diagrams
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred
- Experience with PLCs and automation systems is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to safety and quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Work Environment:
- Industrial manufacturing environment with heavy equipment
- Requires standing, walking, lifting, and physical work throughout a 12-hour shift
- Must wear required PPE including safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toe boots
Level and pay will be determined based on experience, technical ability, and overall skill set.
Experience:
- Maintenance: 4 years (Required)
- PLC Machine : 3 years (Required)
- Electrical troubleshooting: 3 years (Preferred)
- Crane: 3 years (Required)
