American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position in Beckley, WV, requiring at least one year of endoscopy experience and proficiency with EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, bronchoscopy, and feeding tube placements.

GI/Endoscopy unit within an acute care hospital setting

Adult and geriatric patient population
-
4-bed unit focused on endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, bronchoscopy, and feeding tube placements

Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

36 hours per week
-
Every other weekend required, with additional weekend hours as needed

On-call responsibilities required as needed

Floating required as needed

EMR: Meditech
-
13-week contract
-
Active RN license in WV or a compact state license
-
Current AHA certifications: BLS and ACLS
-
Minimum of 1 year of endoscopy experience required

Hands-on experience with EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, bronchoscopy, and feeding tube placements required

Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Hospital is a Level 3 Trauma Center accredited by The Joint Commission

Orientation is held biweekly on Wednesdays

Navy blue scrubs required; hospital OR scrubs are also acceptable — casual wear is not permitted

Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate

Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible

Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
