Duties
- Assist with concrete mixing, pouring, finishing, and cutting to ensure smooth and durable surfaces.
- Support rebar installation, metal stud framing, formwork construction, and masonry tasks following blueprints and schematics.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as caulking, plastering, tile laying, and stucco application.
- Interpret construction plans and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications.
- Handle heavy lifting and operate heavy equipment as needed while adhering to all safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean and organized worksite by removing debris, securing materials, and ensuring compliance with workplace safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members on renovation projects, concrete pumping, flooring installation, and other construction activities to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
- Prior experience working on construction sites or in related fields such as carpentry or masonry is preferred but not mandatory; a strong willingness to learn is essential.
- Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and proper use of hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment.
- Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely for concrete forming, rebar installation, and concrete finishing tasks.
- Excellent teamwork skills combined with a proactive attitude towards safety protocol adherence.
