Service Technician – Gas Appliances
We are seeking a skilled and dependable Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, servicing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of gas-fed appliances, with a primary focus on gas fireplaces.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair gas fireplaces, tankless water heaters, and other gas-fired appliances.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and safety checks.
- Troubleshoot ignition systems, gas valves, venting systems, controls, and related components.
- Install replacement parts and complete repairs in a timely manner.
- Educate customers on proper operation and maintenance of their equipment.
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
- Follow all company policies, manufacturer guidelines, and safety regulations.
- Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times.
Qualifications:
- Experience servicing gas-fired appliances preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Knowledge of gas systems, venting requirements, and appliance safety standards.
- Experience with fireplaces and tankless water heaters is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.

This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, proven experience as an Appliance Technician, basic knowledge of gas fireplace systems, components, and operation, familiarity with electrical and gas systems and the ability to troubleshoot related issues, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Must have a valid drivers license and pass a pre - employment drug screen.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
