Position Summary: Produces machined parts for production equipment from a variety of metals to specification by operating machining equipment.
Job Description:
- Produces parts to specification by setting and operating machinery
- Maintains quality of manufactured parts by inspecting parts in process
- Supports required production schedules by maintaining efficient production cycles
- Maintains operational status of machines by monitoring condition of machine and reporting any needed repairs
- Maintains safe and organized work area by observing all safety policies and procedures
Required Test:
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent or equal combination of education and experience
- Three (3) years machine operating experience
Physical Strain:
- Lifting up to 50 pounds with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 30 pounds
- Bending, squatting, climbing, pulling, stooping, twisting, reaching, working at elevated heights
- Must be able to work under pressure
