Iron Lung
Las Cruces New Mexico
Post-Harvest / Production
Iron Lung is a New Mexico cannabis cultivator and producer committed to growing clean, high-quality flower and getting it to market at its best. Our post-harvest team is where great cultivation becomes a finished product — and we're looking for a hands-on leader to own that final stretch.
The Role
We're hiring a **Post-Production Supervisor** to lead our trim, bucking, and packaging operations. You'll run the day-to-day on the production floor: setting the pace, holding the quality bar, and making sure every batch moves from dried flower to compliant, retail-ready product accurately and on time.
This is a supervisory role with a working knowledge of the floor. You won't be trimming all day, but you'll know exactly what good output looks like, you'll jump in when needed, and you'll be the person your team turns to when there's a question on quality, throughput, or compliance.
What You'll Do
- Supervise the daily operations of the trim, bucking, and packaging teams across your shift, setting production targets and keeping work flowing.
- Own quality standards for finished flower — trim quality, bud structure, moisture, and overall presentation — and coach the team to hit them consistently.
- Oversee weighing, packaging, and labeling to ensure every unit is accurate, properly sealed, and correctly labeled for retail.
- Ensure all product is tracked and tagged in compliance with New Mexico Cannabis Control Division (CCD) regulations and our seed-to-sale system [BioTrack/Metrc].
- Maintain accurate batch records, yield logs, and waste documentation.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and inspection-ready
- Train new team members and provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and performance check-ins.
- Partner with cultivation, inventory, and compliance teams to keep product moving smoothly from harvest through packaging.
- Troubleshoot bottlenecks, equipment issues, and quality problems on the floor and escalate when needed.
What We're Looking For
1+ years of experience in cannabis post-harvest, trim, packaging, or a comparable high-volume production/manufacturing environment.
- 1+ year in a lead, supervisor, or team-lead capacity.
- Strong eye for quality and a steady, detail-oriented approach to repetitive, standards-driven work.
- Familiarity with seed-to-sale tracking [Metrc/BioTrack] and state compliance requirements (New Mexico CCD experience a strong plus).
- Dependable, organized, and calm under deadline pressure.
Physical Requirements
- Able to stand, sit, and perform repetitive hand motions for extended periods.
- Able to lift up to [50] lbs and work in a facility environment that may include varying temperatures and plant material/odor.
