Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Floral Designer to join our team. As a Floral Designer, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. If you have a passion for flowers and a creative eye, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
- Design and create floral arrangements for various occasions such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, and corporate events
- Assist customers in selecting the perfect floral arrangements based on their preferences and budget
- Arrange flowers in vases, baskets, or other containers, ensuring proper balance and aesthetics
- Maintain inventory of fresh flowers, plants, and floral supplies
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns
- Keep work area clean and organized
- Collaborate with the team to develop new designs and stay updated on the latest trends in floral design
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Floral Designer or in a similar role is preferred
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques is a plus
- Familiarity with retail math for pricing and inventory management
- Experience with e-commerce platforms to sell floral products online is desirable
- Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems for sales transactions
- Proven sales skills to promote products and upsell to customers
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Multilingual abilities are an asset
