Clinical Director (BCBA) – ABA Clinic Leadership
ABA Journey is seeking a Clinical Director (BCBA) to lead our clinic in Stockbridge, Georgia. This role is designed for an experienced BCBA who wants to step into a leadership position while continuing to stay involved in clinical work.
The Clinical Director will oversee the daily clinical operations of the clinic, supervise RBT staff, maintain a manageable BCBA caseload, and ensure that all services meet high standards for quality ABA therapy. This is a leadership opportunity for a BCBA who enjoys mentoring staff, supporting families, and maintaining strong clinical programs.
This position is fully in-person at our Stockbridge clinic and is not a remote role.
Position Overview
The Clinical Director serves as the primary BCBA leader within the clinic and is responsible for maintaining clinical quality, supervising staff, and supporting clinic operations. The Clinical Director works closely with Registered Behavior Technicians and families to ensure that ABA therapy programs are implemented effectively.
The Clinical Director maintains a smaller BCBA caseload while also providing guidance to staff and ensuring compliance with BACB standards and Georgia licensure requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Clinic Leadership
Serve as the on-site Clinical Director and lead BCBA for the Stockbridge clinic
Oversee daily clinic operations and maintain an organized and professional environment
Coordinate with staff to ensure appropriate clinical coverage during clinic hours
Support scheduling and staffing needs to ensure continuity of care
Participate in client intake discussions and support the onboarding process for new families
Help guide the growth and stability of the clinic alongside the administrative team
Clinical Oversight
Conduct functional behavior assessments and skills assessments for clients
Develop individualized ABA treatment plans based on assessment results
Review clinical data and adjust programs to support measurable progress
Ensure treatment plans are implemented with fidelity by clinical staff
Maintain compliance with BACB ethical standards and Georgia regulatory requirements
Monitor overall clinical quality across clients receiving services in the clinic
Supervision and Staff Development
Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians in accordance with BCBA supervision standards
Provide direct observation, coaching, and clinical feedback to staff
Lead team meetings and provide ongoing support to clinical staff
Assist with the onboarding and training of new RBTs
Promote consistent documentation practices and support audit readiness
Caseload Responsibilities
Maintain a manageable BCBA caseload consisting of clinic-based clients
Provide caregiver training and collaborate with families
Complete progress reports, treatment plan updates, and insurance reauthorizations
Monitor treatment progress and ensure programs remain effective
Qualifications
Required
Active BCBA certification
Eligible for or currently holding Georgia LBA licensure
At least two years of experience working as a BCBA
Experience supervising RBTs and managing ABA programs
Ability to work full-time on site in Stockbridge, Georgia
Strong leadership and organizational skills
Preferred
Experience in a Clinical Director or lead BCBA role
Experience working in a clinic-based ABA environment
Background supporting staff development and program growth

Salary range of $120,000 – $135,000 per year
