Finance & Accounting Manager
Location & Work Model: Hybrid – Watertown, SD
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Salary Range: $90,000–$110,000 annually, depending on experience, with bonus opportunity

The Role
The Finance & Accounting Manager leads the company’s accounting and financial operations while serving as a key member of the leadership team. This role oversees day-to-day accounting functions, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance while helping guide strategic business decisions. The position offers a combination of hands-on financial leadership and high-level collaboration with company leadership.
What You’ll Do

Lead and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, payroll, and cash management

Prepare monthly financial statements and provide reporting to leadership

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities

Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax requirements, and regulatory guidelines

Coordinate annual audits and year-end financial processes

Maintain and improve accounting procedures and internal controls

Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support operational and strategic decisions

Supervise and support a team of approximately 5 employees
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications

5+ years of accounting or finance experience, including leadership responsibilities

Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and general accounting principles

Experience managing month-end close and financial statement preparation

Ability to lead and develop a team

Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel

Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

Experience supporting audits and working with external auditors

Familiarity with payroll processes and compliance
