Provides customer service to hotel guests in person, online and over the phone. Duties to include in your front desk agent job description are creating reservations, checking guests in and out and addressing customer requests.
Job Duties:
- Creating and managing room reservations via the hotel’s software
- Processing payments for rooms and amenities, such as room service, spa treatments or reservation add-ons like cable services
- Greeting and checking guests in
- Answering questions and resolving problems, such as towel refills or key card issues
- Collaborating with hotel staff, including housekeepers, bellhops, maintenance workers and shuttle drivers
- Documenting reservations, service requests and incidents, such as elevator breakdowns
- Following the property’s cash-handling procedures
Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
