About DUO Southfield
DUO is an upscale bar and restaurant in Southfield, MI with a mature, 27+ crowd and genuine, neighborhood-style hospitality. The host is the first and last impression at DUO — we need friendly, organized people who can manage the door, seating, and reservations gracefully, especially on busy nights.
What you'll do
- Warmly greet and seat guests; manage the waitlist and reservations
- Coordinate seating flow with servers and management
- Answer phones and handle reservation requests
- Keep the entrance and host area clean and welcoming
- Help set a positive tone for every guest's visit
What we're looking for
- Friendly, professional, and highly reliable
- Organized and calm under pressure on busy nights
- Prior host or customer-service experience a plus
- Reliable transportation and nights/weekends availability
Schedule
Wednesday–Saturday evenings (plus Sunday brunch as it launches).
Pay & perks
$14–$16/hour, paid weekly. Benefits include a flexible schedule and an employee dining discount.
