Youth Soccer Coach | Saturday Mornings & Evening Clinics | Burbank
SoCal Youth Sports is looking for energetic, reliable and engaging coaches to join our growing Burbank coaching team.
This is a part-time opportunity primarily involving Saturday morning soccer sessions, with additional opportunities to coach selected weekday evening clinics, camps and special programs.
We are also particularly interested in finding one or two coaches who enjoy working with very young children and parents through our Mommy, Daddy & Me program.
The role
You may support or lead:
- Saturday morning youth soccer sessions
- Weekday evening soccer clinics
- Small-sided games and skill-development activities
- Mommy, Daddy & Me sessions for children approximately 18 months to 3 years
- Camps, tournaments and additional coaching opportunities
Our programs are active, child-centred and game-based. We do not believe young players should spend sessions standing in lines, running laps or listening to long lectures.
We are looking for someone who is
- Energetic, warm and confident around children
- Reliable and able to arrive prepared and on time
- Comfortable communicating with parents
- Willing to learn our NanoSoccer and game-based coaching approach
- Available on Saturday mornings
- Potentially available for weekday evening sessions
- Able to travel reliably to Burbank locations
Previous soccer coaching experience is helpful, but it is not essential for the right person. Experience in childcare, early childhood education, teaching, camps, recreation, performing arts or other children’s activities can also be valuable.
Mommy, Daddy & Me pathway

- Gymnastics, dance or movement programs
- Children’s entertainment or recreation
Paid training and ongoing support are provided.
Please apply with your availability, location, transportation arrangements and any experience you have working with children.
