We are seeking a proactive and skilled Hotel Maintenance Person to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior fixtures to ensure optimal operation.
- Conduct carpentry, painting (including residential painting), and maintenance painting tasks to uphold the hotel’s aesthetic standards.
- Maintain facilities equipment including HVAC systems, plumbing fixtures, electrical panels, and mechanical components with precision and safety awareness.
- Supervise or assist with maintenance projects involving schematics interpretation, electrical work, plumbing repairs, or building interior modifications.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards by adhering to proper procedures during maintenance activities and using hand tools safely.
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize urgent repairs while managing ongoing maintenance tasks efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests related to facilities issues and ensuring minimal disruption.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or building operations within a hospitality or manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on skills in plumbing system maintenance and repair, HVAC system repair, electrical work, welding, carpentry, and painting.
- Familiarity with schematics for electrical wiring, plumbing layouts, HVAC components, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to operate hand tools effectively and safely..
- Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and report on maintenance activities confidently.
