Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Lube Technician to join our automotive service team on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles, ensuring they operate efficiently and safely. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive service procedures, attention to detail, and the ability to work with various hand and power tools. Punctuality is a must!
Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes and fluid level checks to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
- Conduct tire services, including rotations, alignments, and pressure checks.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete maintenance tasks.
- Assist in the diagnosis of vehicle issues and recommend appropriate repairs or services.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
- Document services performed and maintain accurate records for customer vehicles.
- Collaborate with other technicians and service advisors to enhance customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in automotive repair and service.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools specific to the automotive industry.
- Knowledge of dealership practices related to vehicle maintenance and repair.
- Ability to align vehicles accurately as part of tire service procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in performing tasks.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
