Window Cleaning Technician
Overview Join our growing team as a Window Cleaning Technician. You’ll deliver sparkling results for residential and light commercial clients using professional tools and techniques. We’re looking for dependable, detail-oriented people who communicate well, respect every customer’s property, and can adapt to changing schedules and conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform exterior and interior window cleaning using a large brush (water-fed pole) and traditional squeegee methods.
- Clean frames, sills, tracks, and screens; remove light debris, smudges, and water spots.
- Set up, inspect, and safely operate equipment (ladders, extension poles, water-fed systems).
- Work efficiently in various environments and weather conditions while maintaining quality and safety.
- Protect client property (drop cloths, boot covers), leave work areas clean, and follow company checklists.
- Communicate professionally with clients: confirm scope, manage expectations, and address concerns on-site.
- Document work completed, note issues (damaged screens, hard water etching), and collect approvals or payments as required.
- Follow safety protocols, including ladder safety, PPE, and site-specific procedures.
Qualifications
- Experience with squeegee work and/or water-fed pole preferred; willing to train the right candidates.
- Comfortable learning and mastering a large brush and squeegee technique.
- Ability to work in all environments (heat, cold, wind, light rain) and at heights using ladders.
- Strong attention to detail; takes pride in thorough, streak-free results.
- Flexible availability, including occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends based on client demand.
- Excellent customer service skills; respectful, reliable, and professional on every job.
- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required; ability to pass a background check.
Schedule and Pay
- Full-time or part-time positions available; variable hours with overtime opportunities during peak seasons.
- Competitive hourly wage based on experience, plus performance/quality bonuses and tips.
- Paid training on company methods, safety, and equipment.
