SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Supervisors manage teams, develop detailed and documented work instructions, and train team members for inspection, sorting, containment and rework projects. Soring and inspection work can include visual inspection, touch point inspection, or use of measuring equipment to determine conformity of a part. Rework projects eliminate know defects and include work such as deburring or replacing a component part.

Trains and educates Team Leaders and Quality Inspectors on proper SQ and client procedures relevant to the project

Creates work instructions and confirms team conformance to the job set up and communicates any criteria to the Customer Service and/or Training departments

Maintains and manages customer relationships throughout each project

Identifies and communicates any new business opportunities within assigned plant locations to the Marketing/Sales departments

Reports, identifies, investigates and corrects any non-conformances to appropriate departments

Partners with Human Resources to document and addresses progressive discipline issues

Coordinates all necessary job specifications and requirements with appropriate Operations and Recruiting teams

Where SAP experience is required, functions include analyzing materials to be pulled/sorted and managing parts order.

Completes required training classes
- All other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Adaptability and dependability are crucial to being successful as a Project Supervisor
Qualified candidates will possess a valid driver’s license as well as the ability to:

Effectively use computer programs such as Excel and Outlook on a daily basis

Travel on day and overnight trips.

Work flexible hours on various shifts based on project and business demands.

Perform on-call duties

High School diploma or equivalent work experience
-
2+ years of supervisory experience preferred

Experience in handling customer and employee relations
- For certain customers, SAP experience will be required
-
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, proficiency in Excel
-
Available to work assigned hours based on customer needs

For internal candidates, have satisfactory job performance (not on a corrective action)
Specific vision abilities (with or without corrective eyewear) required by this job include:

Must be able to demonstrate effectiveness of visual inspection.
Physical Requirements:

Lift a minimum of 25 lbs. on a repetitive basis for duration of shift
- Walk, stand, and/or sit for duration of shift

- Work in different climates for duration of shift
