Job Summary
Join our dynamic team as a Dump Truck Driver and take charge of transporting materials safely and efficiently across various job sites. In this vital role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to deliver and unload construction materials, debris, or other freight, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries. Your expertise in truck driving, route navigation, and load handling will contribute to the smooth progress of our projects. Responsibilities
- Operate dump trucks and other heavy-duty vehicles such as roll-off trucks and tractor-trailers with precision and safety.
- Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment like forklifts or manual methods, ensuring secure handling of materials.
- Drive route-specific deliveries, adhering to schedules and traffic regulations while maintaining a focus on safety.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety, including checks on brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, loads, fuel usage, and maintenance logs for compliance and reporting purposes.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site managers, or clients regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered during transport.
- Follow all safety protocols related to operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tanker trucks, or other specialized equipment as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating dump trucks, tractor-trailers, roll-off trucks, or similar heavy-duty vehicles.
- Proficiency in manual transmission driving preferred; familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers is a plus.
- Delivery driver experience in freight transportation or construction materials strongly preferred.
- Ability to load & unload freight safely using forklifts or manual methods while following safety procedures.
- Knowledge of route driving techniques and traffic laws applicable to commercial trucking.

Pay: $22.50 - $26.00 per hour
