NGC Group, Inc. is a commercial general contractor seeking a full-time Superintendent capable of supervising subcontractors with some administrative duties. The ideal candidate would have experience overseeing the day-to-day operations of subcontractor coordination and material management.
Minimum Requirements:
- HOSPITALITY or MULTIFAMILY EXPERIENCE
- Minimum 6 years commercial construction experience
- OSHA 30-hour certified
- CPR/First Aid trained
- Experience using Procore and MS Project
- Ability to read and understand commercial construction blueprints
- Good understanding of interior and exterior construction
- Ability to lead and teach others
- Ability to organize paper work and correspondence
- Ability to travel
- Ideal candidate would possess the following skills:
- Good communication skills - both verbal and written
- Able to communicate effectively with architects and engineers
- Strong work ethic
- Strong problem solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in all divisions of work, methods, materials, scheduling and cost control
Responsibilities could include, but not limited to:
- Coordinate all subcontractor work
- Ensure all safety procedures are in place on each project
- Constantly monitor job sites to ensure quality control and safety standards
- Maintain effective communication between the office staff and accounting department
- Communicate with vendors and subcontractors to ensure work is in compliance with plans
- Complete daily logs, paperwork and all other correspondence in a timely manner
- Effectively handle multiple deadlines
- Maintain relationships with owners, vendors, and subcontractors
- Perform Project Manager responsibilities when needed; RFI’s, etc.
