Operations Dispatcher General Laborer - $20-$29+ full time, high potential for growth within the firm

As a Dispatcher & General Laborer you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling the daily operations of our junk removal trucks. You will communicate with our customers and Truck Team Members to ensure a smooth and efficient service. You WILL be working on the trucks as needed, loading and hauling away unwanted items from homes and businesses.
This role will spend on average 2 days out on the road in our Shiny Blue Trucks and 3 days in the office running routes (This role requires Full-time hours).
Responsibilities:
- You MUST work on the trucks as needed, loading and hauling away unwanted items from homes and businesses.
- Answer calls and document important information.
- Respond to any issues and follow-up by coordinating with the appropriate truck team members.
- Operate and manage calls and messages from customers, team members, and management.
- Respond to queries related to scheduled services and proactively reach out if route changes will impact timelines
- Prioritize and organize calls and services according to the urgency
- Manage Dispatch schedule to ensure availability is maximized and conduct
- Make and receive check-in calls from Truck Team Members
- Conduct Welcome Calls
- Supervise the route and status of field teams to prioritize their daily schedule
- Maintain and update call logs, call records and other important documentation within our booking and scheduling system.
The position will work directly with the Director of Operations, the GM/LM and others as needed, to capture and record the transactions of the day. Specifically:
- Reconciling Jobs - Square, payments vs. charges,
- Processing Daily COGS - entering data from vendor receipts, track down missing information
- Tracking/Updating TTM Hours by job
- Reconcile & prepare deposits
- Update Google Sheets
- Communicating status, resolving/identifying discrepancies
- Previous experience in admin/AP-AR or other related fields is a plus
Requirements:
- 1 Year of Dispatching experience
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required
- 2+ years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledgeable and Proficient in MS Office, Salesforce, Excel, Word, G-Suite, etc.
- GPS software experience desired
- Strong attention to detail and multi-tasking abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
