American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med Surg/ED nights position requiring a Colorado or compact RN license and Spine/Ortho post-op patient experience.

Critical access hospital setting covering Med Surg/ED

Cares for adult, ortho, and pediatric med-surg patients as well as emergency department patients
-
Patient ratio of 1 to 5

Night shift schedule

13-week assignment with 36 guaranteed hours

Current, unrestricted Colorado RN license (Standard or Compact) required

Minimum of 4 years of RN experience required

Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC

Spine/Ortho post-op patient experience required with emphasis on Med/Surg

COVID-19 vaccination required per state mandate

Provide nursing care across both Med Surg and Emergency Department settings

No holiday time off requests accepted; must be available to work scheduled holidays

Must reside at least 65 miles from the facility to be considered; local candidates will not be accepted

Facility housing may be available, potentially as a shared 2-bedroom/2-bath apartment
