Schedule: 5-6 days a week (WEEKENDS MANDATORY); Time: 11AM-7pm (sometimes later than 7pm)
Job Description:
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Non-CDL Class C Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a 26ft bobtail truck, using a liftgate, handling pickups/ deliveries with a manual pallet jack, and maintaining compliance with ELD requirements or paper logbook.
Starting pay: $18.50/hour
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 26ft bobtail truck for local and/or regional deliveries
- Load and unload freight using a liftgate and manual pallet jack
- Secure cargo and/or equipment with straps
- Complete scheduled deliveries in a timely and professional manner
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain accurate logs using Electronic Logging Device (ELD)
- Implement safe and efficient operating procedures while meeting deadlines.
- Follow DOT safety regulations and company procedures
- Provide excellent customer service at delivery locations
Requirements:
- Valid Class C driver license (Non-CDL)
- DOT Medical Card
- Clean driving record
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Functional phone that is able to take and send photos
- Safety Vest
- Experience driving a 26ft box truck/bobtail preferred
- Ability to operate a manual pallet jack and liftgate
- Familiarity with ELD systems
- Ability to lift and move heavy freight as needed
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-conscious
