Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues across vehicle systems including powertrain, suspension, electrical wiring, and ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems).
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on various vehicle components such as engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, and electrical systems with precision and efficiency.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot complex electrical problems accurately.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely to complete repairs while adhering to safety standards.
- Execute wheel alignments and vehicle transmission system repairs to ensure proper operation and customer satisfaction.
- Assist in vehicle maintenance procedures for both new and used vehicles, including GM models if applicable.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, offering recommendations, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the service process.
Requirements
- Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair.
- Proficiency in interpreting automotive schematics, wiring diagrams, and understanding vehicle systems such as ADAS and electrical components.
- Hands-on experience with automotive diagnostic tools, power tools, hand tools, and auto estimating software.
- Mechanical knowledge of powertrain components, vehicle suspension systems, transmissions, diesel engines, and overall automotive repair techniques.
- Ability to work efficiently on vehicle maintenance tasks while maintaining high quality standards.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients.
- Familiarity with GM vehicles or similar makes is a plus but not mandatory.
- Valid mechanic license or certification preferred; ongoing training in automotive electrical systems or advanced diagnostics is advantageous.

Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour
