Journeyman Electrician
Job Description:
We are looking for a Journeyman Electrician to prepare, assemble, install, test, troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices and related equipment in all types of buildings and other structures.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Perform work as directed by their supervisor.
· Follow all legal instructions and directives (e.g. dress codes, health, and safety procedures).
· Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, fixtures, and equipment.
· Assist in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing necessary repairs.
· Continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
· Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and specifications.
· Travel is a requirement.

· Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

· Ability to work independently and stick to deadlines.
· Ability to stand for extended periods.
· Ability to lift heavy objects.
· Ability to work after hours when required.
· The ability to multitask and complete a wide variety of tasks.
· Strong written and verbal communications skills to produce reports, assign tasks, accept instructions and other assigned tasks.
· Experience in commercial electrical systems.
· The ability to use electrical and hand tools (e.g. wire strippers, voltmeter, etc.).
· Troubleshooting electrical motor controls.
· Must be able to pass DOT medical requirements.
Education / Experience:
· High School Diploma or GED.
· Driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Report.
· Minimum 5 years of experience.
· Must be able to pass a background check.
