JOB DESCRIPTION: CLINICAL SUPERVISOR
At King Health Systems, our goal is to provide individualized mental health care to individuals and families in need. We provide outpatient mental health services, psychiatric rehabilitation services, and medication management to clients in the West Baltimore Area. Our clients often have co-occurring substance abuse disorders and are receiving PRP services to support their activities of daily living.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Timeliness & Reliability- Shows up on time, attends scheduled meetings, completes notes/documentation on time, responds to communication promptly.
- Meets with every clinician every week or as scheduled.
- Has minimal cancelations/rescheduling of scheduled supervision sessions.
- Signs and approves therapist paperwork within the week, or rejects and requests corrections within the week.

- Provide clinical supervision to assigned clinicians.

Role-Specific Expertise - Applies appropriate skills and knowledge for their specific position (e.g., clinical, EMR, admin, outreach).
- Accomplish the following:
- 1 hour of supervision to be provided per 25 clients seen by each clinician (1x a week for each full-time clinician; 1x every other week for each part-time clinician).
- 1 hour of admin time per month for each full-time clinician for signing paperwork.
- 0.5 hour of admin time per month for each part-time clinician for signing paperwork.
- Provides structured, evidence-informed clinical supervision tailored to the developmental needs of LMSWs pursuing advanced licensure.
- Ensures supervisees apply ethical decision-making, diagnostic accuracy, and appropriate therapeutic interventions in alignment with Maryland Board of Social Work Examiners standards.
- Reviews documentation and clinical cases to support compliance with Medicaid, agency policy, and best practice guidelines.
- Fosters professional growth through goal setting, reflective practice, and constructive feedback in supervision sessions.
- Models advanced clinical judgment and cultural responsiveness, supporting supervisees in navigating complex client presentations.

- Maintain strict confidentiality according to the federal and state guidelines and requirements.

- Supports supervisees in efficiently managing their caseloads to achieve productivity requirements for their position.
Quality & Accuracy of Documentation- Notes and records are timely, accurate, clinically sound, and Medicaid-compliant.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records consistent with COMAR regulations in EMR (electronic medical record).
- Fill out KHS Clinical Supervision Note for every supervision session provided.
