Animal Emergency Service (AES) is seeking a friendly, organized, and dependable Part-Time Veterinary Receptionist to join our team.
Position Details
- Schedule: Saturdays, 5:00 PM – 12:00 AM
- Location: Animal Emergency Service
- Part-time position with opportunity to pick up additional shifts as needed
Responsibilities
- Greet clients and patients in a compassionate and professional manner
- Answer multi-line phones and triage incoming calls appropriately
- Check patients in and obtain accurate client and patient information
- Process payments and review estimates
- Maintain medical records and client communications
- Coordinate with veterinarians and nursing staff to ensure smooth patient flow
- Assist clients during emotionally stressful emergency situations
- Perform general reception and administrative duties
Qualifications
- Previous veterinary reception experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced emergency environment
- Strong computer and multitasking skills
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Must be comfortable working evenings and weekends
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate is compassionate, organized, and able to provide exceptional client service while supporting our emergency team. Experience in veterinary medicine is a plus, but a positive attitude and willingness to learn are equally important.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
