Duties
- Safely operate a variety of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other commercial vehicles.
- Load and unload freight accurately, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo such as freight, refrigerated goods, or specialized equipment.
- Drive assigned routes confidently while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and readiness; report any maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle inspections in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate deliveries and pickups efficiently.
- Assist with forklift operation or other equipment as needed for loading or unloading cargo.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the vehicle type (e.g., manual transmission experience preferred).
- Proven truck driving experience, especially with tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, or similar vehicles.
- Experience in load & unload procedures across various freight types.
- Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety protocols.
- Ability to operate specialized equipment such as forklifts or dump trucks when required.
- Strong attention to detail for vehicle inspections and documentation accuracy.

Pay: $29.20 - $35.16 per hour
