Quality Assurance Evaluator
Under immediate supervision of FSQAT Manager, this individual will monitor the operation of each dining facility to ensure compliance with all sub-contracting requirements.
General Responsibilities
-
Maintain and update facility Food Safety Plan and associated programs to ensure compliance with Airforce Food Service and contracting requirements.

Performs inspections of dining facility to ensure sanitation standards are met in accordance with 2005 Food Code.

Conduct pre-operational inspection and daily Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) audits.

Identify nonconforming product, equipment, and materials and determine dispositions.

Support pest control operations and document pest sightings

Maintain deviation program, following up on issues and corrective actions, if necessary, based on deviations found in programs.

Maintain corrective action tracker database to ensure continuous improvement activities cited from internal and external audits are acted upon and remain on track.

Develop a constructive work environment through open communication and team building skills.

Current Serv-Safe certification a must

A Valid State Driver License and reliable transportation with proof of insurance and current vehicle registration required
Physical Requirements

Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time

Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and lift up to 50 pounds

Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses
Experience/Knowledge

High school Diploma or Equivalent
-
One (1) year experience in the food service industry
-
Previous experience in a technical role
Preferred Qualifications
-
Bilingual in English and Spanish
