Job Summary
Oak Creek Dental care is seeking a reliable Experienced Dental Assistant to join our dental team on a part time basis. Our office is patient focused, fast paced, and committed to providing high quality care care in a friendly environment. In this vital role, you will support dentists during a variety of dental procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. Your expertise in chairside assisting, infection control, and dental technology will help deliver exceptional care to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Provide chairside assistance for a variety of procedures
- Anticipate the doctors needs during procedures and ensure smooth workflow
- Prepare treatment rooms before and after each patient, ensuring proper setup and breakdown
- Assist the dentist during procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort
- Sterilize and maintain instruments in compliance of OSHA and CDC guidelines
- Take high-quality digital x-rays and intraoral images
- Maintain accurate and detailed clinical notes in patients charts
- Ensure all materials and supplies are stocked organized for daily procedures
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and ensure a clean, safe environment
- Help manage patient flow to keep the schedule running efficiently
- Communicate effectively with front office an clinical team members
Skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure patient privacy and data security at all times.
- Skilled in chairside assisting across various specialties such as endodontics, prosthodontics, and general dentistry.
- Familiarity with infection control protocols to uphold the highest standards of safety.
- Ability to interpret dental terminology accurately for effective communication with team members and patients.
- Experience working with Eaglesoft preferred but not required
- Experience working with Cerec preferred but not required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy dental clinic environment.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
