Caterer and Expo Job Summary
We are looking for an energetic and customer-focused Caterer to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with other members of the catering team to provide high-quality catering services for our clients at special events such as weddings, functions, meetings, and large gatherings, as well as basic corporate deliveries.
Must have VALID DRIVER LICENSE
All catering drivers help attend to kitchen prep in-between deliveries.
Drop offs: These are everyday event that we have. With these events you can expect to load our catering truck with supplies, and food for the event. Drive to the event and drop off box lunches or set up a quick disposable buffet. These events are common for corporate deliveries.
Stay at Events: On the day of the event, you will help set up and break down equipment, prepare and serve food and beverages, and make sure the food service runs smoothly. Caterer Duties and Responsibilities - Set up tables, chairs, linens, and equipment at the venue Load and unload catering vehicles with food, supplies, and equipment for events in all weather conditions Prepare and serve food and drinks; bus tables as needed, Attend to guests’ needs for the duration of the event, Breakdown and clean equipment following the event; ensure that the venue is left clean and tidy.
Catering Cold Prep: Help Prep Cold trays such as salads, sandwiches, fruits, shrimp trays etc.
We are also looking for help in our front of house restaurant on Sundays Expo, managing all food that goes out to tables.
Wage: Catering training wage (about 2 weeks) is $18.00 an hour, then goes up to $20 after training.
Expos on Saturday/Sundays are $12.00 plus cash tips which makes it about $20.00 an hour.
Hours: Catering is adjustable and flexible (talk to us about what your looking for)
Must be available Saturdays
Expo in front of house is 8am-1:30pm (ish) on Sundays (Plus some Saturdays)
