Preferred Education and Experience:
· High School Diploma or General Educational Development (GED).
· 5+ years’ experience in maintenance, plastic injection molding experience.
· Electrical license or previously qualified as an electrical worker.
· Vocational or college-level studies in electrical and/or hydraulics or equivalent experience.
· Demonstrated understanding of electrical and/or electronic problem analysis and repair.
· Demonstrated understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic installation, problem analysis and repair.
· Demonstrated ability to perform simple machining/fabrication (cutting, drilling, tapping, etc.)
· Demonstrated ability to perform simple Arc & MIG welding tasks.
· Competency in Microsoft Products (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
Essential Job Functions include, but not limited to, the following:
· Maintain and repair production equipment as required.
· Minor repair of production tooling as required.
· Perform preventive maintenance as schedule and assigned.
· Assist with equipment installation or relocation.
· Perform building and grounds maintenance as assigned
· Assist with building and grounds modifications.
· Use of various equipment including but not limited to:
o : welder, milling machine, circular saw, degreasing equipment, drill press, grinder
table saw, compressed air equipment, metal lathe, sandblaster, band saw, molding machine.
o : calipers, multimeter, bore gage, micrometer.
· Engage with outside resources as needed to keep production running.
· Proactively participate in continuous improvement efforts and drive process, tooling, and equipment enhancements that will improve production efficiency and product quality.
· Help develop specific maintenance and repair procedures to install, maintain, and repair production equipment and tools.
· Provide direction and coaching to less experienced team members, as well as mentor as requested.
· Advanced troubleshooting of both equipment and systems.
· Advanced understand of machine inspections and ability t interpret drawings.
· Attend specialized equipment training as required for position.
· Additional functions not specifically outlined in this position description as assigned by the supervisor.

Pay: $24.00 - $36.00 per hour
