Hillside Community Apartments, located in Stoneham, ma, is seeking a
GROUNDSKEEPER/LABORER
Full time Monday through Friday 8 AM – 4:30 PM.
Occasional Saturdays as needed.
We offer an Excellent Pay and Benefits package.
Compensation is based according to experience .
One year Landscaping Experience Preferred but not Required.
Duties and Responsibilities
In General, you will perform a wide variety of skilled/unskilled landscaping and grounds maintenance functions . You will also perform general cleaning of buildings to include entryway floors and doors, bathrooms, trash receptacles, hallways, elevators, and stairways.
Some of the activities you may be asked to perform.....
- Lawn mowing, bed work, weed whacking, weeding, planting, general upkeep of the grounds
- Spring and Fall cleanups, brush and overgrowth removal
- Properly using and caring for landscaping equipment
- Working with the crew to complete jobs efficiently and professionally
- Winter: SNOW REMOVAL MANDATORY
- Keep Storage areas clean and orderly
General Labor Requirements and Qualifications
- High school degree or equivalent experience
- Must be 18 years of age
- Must be fluent in English
- Ability to shovel snow
- Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds
- Positive attitude and work ethic
- Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
- Excellent interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
