Food Safety and Quality Manager
We are seeking an experienced Food Safety and Quality Manager to lead food safety and quality assurance at a production and cold storage facility. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can own daily operations, manage a team, and keep the facility audit-ready.
You will work alongside a fellow QA Manager to cover both production shifts, oversee a team of technicians, and enforce food safety and quality standards across the operation.
What you'll do:
- Lead daily food safety and quality assurance operations
- Manage and mentor a team of QA technicians
- Maintain and improve quality control systems and SOPs
- Implement and uphold HACCP programs and sanitation protocols
- Lead internal inspections and keep the facility audit-ready
- Manage corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Partner with production, operations, and maintenance teams
- Oversee product testing and lab results
What you need:
- Minimum 5 years of QA management experience in food manufacturing
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
- HACCP and PCQI certification
- Strong leadership and team management experience
- Knowledge of FDA and USDA regulations
- Flexibility to support both shifts and weekends as needed
Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
