Orthodontic Dental Assistant – Full‑Time, Flexible Schedule
A growing orthodontic practice is seeking a dependable and personable Orthodontic Dental Assistant to join its team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys helping patients smile, thrives in a collaborative environment, and brings both attention to detail and a positive attitude to daily clinical operations.
Responsibilities
- Assist chairside with orthodontic procedures including bondings, wire changes, and retainer fabrication
- Perform digital iTero scanning, radiographs, and sterilization duties
- Support patient flow by seating patients and preparing treatment areas
- Maintain high standards of infection control and equipment care
- Contribute to community events and occasional weekend activities
- Travel occasionally to a nearby location as part of team coverage
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) and radiation certification required
- Bilingual: English and Spanish
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
- Detail‑oriented and dependable, with a patient‑focused mindset
- Orthodontic experience preferred but not required
