District Manager – Early Childhood Education

This role is ideal for a seasoned early childhood education leader who is passionate about developing teams, improving center performance, and ensuring high-quality educational environments for young children.
What will you be doing?
As a District Manager, you will provide leadership and operational oversight across multiple early childhood education centers. Partnering closely with site leadership teams, you will support center operations, staff development, family engagement, enrollment performance, compliance, and continuous quality improvement.
You will be responsible for ensuring locations maintain high standards of safety, educational quality, customer experience, and operational excellence while supporting center leaders in achieving performance goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct leadership, coaching, and support to Center Directors and site leadership teams across multiple locations.
- Ensure centers maintain high-quality early childhood education programming and positive learning environments.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, staff development, retention, and succession planning for center leadership teams.
- Partner with Center Directors to strengthen employee engagement, operational performance, enrollment growth, and family satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable licensing, health, safety, staffing, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess center operations, educational quality, classroom environments, safety, and facility standards.
- Address escalated family concerns and partner with leadership teams to drive timely and effective resolution.
- Analyze operational and quality metrics to identify trends and implement improvement strategies.
- Support implementation of organizational initiatives, policies, and operational best practices across assigned locations.
- Lead crisis management and business continuity efforts as needed.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, Human Services, Business Administration, or a related field required
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in Early Childhood Education required
- Prior experience overseeing multiple early childhood education centers or managing center leadership strongly preferred
- Demonstrated experience leading licensed childcare, preschool, or early learning programs required
- Strong understanding of licensing requirements, staffing models, health and safety practices, and quality standards within early childhood education
- Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop leaders and center-based teams
- Strong customer service, conflict resolution, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business systems
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, multi-site environment
- Ability and willingness to travel regularly between assigned locations

Pay: $75,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
