Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine treatment plans tailored to individual needs
- Perform acupuncture procedures using sterile, aseptic techniques to ensure safety and efficacy
- Apply trigger point therapy and other specialized techniques to relieve muscle tension and pain
- Manage acute pain conditions through targeted acupuncture interventions
- Educate patients on physiology, anatomy, and pain management strategies for ongoing wellness
- Conduct physical examinations and utilize medical terminology accurately in documentation and communication
- Maintain a clean, safe treatment environment adhering to strict aseptic protocols and infection control standards
Requirements
- Licensed in CT to practice acupuncture
- Proven experience in acupuncture
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and pain management principles
- Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and physical examinations
- Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to care
- Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation practices
- Commitment to maintaining aseptic techniques and safety standards during treatments
