Position Overview
We are hiring a Behavioral Therapist | Bilingual-Spanish to support a child who needs in home services in San Pedro area. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and wants hands-on experience in behavioral health, education, or therapy.
As a Behavior Technician, you will provide one-on-one ABA services in the home setting, helping clients develop communication, social, and daily living skills. Bilingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply, as language skills are highly valuable in supporting our families.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver in-home ABA therapy sessions with children and adolescents
- Follow individualized treatment plans created by a supervising BCBA
- Support skill development in communication, behavior regulation, and daily routines
- Track progress and complete session documentation
- Collaborate with supervisors and families to support client goals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor’s degree (completed or in progress) in psychology, education, social work, or a related field preferred
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Experience working with children is a plus
- Experience with autism or developmental differences is highly valued
- RBT certification preferred (or willingness to obtain after hire)
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Current auto insurance
- Willingness to travel between client homes
- Ability to complete Live Scan fingerprinting
Schedule
- Sessions typically 3–4 hours
- Opportunities for longer shifts depending on availability
- Monday–Friday with optional weekends
- Flexible scheduling available (great for students)
