American Traveler is seeking an experienced Emergency Department RN for a 13-week travel contract in San Francisco, CA, requiring a CA RN license and at least 1 year of ED experience.

Emergency Department (ED) setting within a hospital environment
-
Variable 3x12-hour shifts spanning day, evening, and night hours (7a-7p, 11a-11p, 3p-3a, 7p-7a)

Every other weekend rotation required; no on-call responsibilities

Floating to other campuses within the same health system may be required based on census needs

Active CA RN license required

Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS

Minimum 1 year of ED RN experience required

Two supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration

Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates

Deliver competent, compassionate, and cost-effective patient care in alignment with evidence-based nursing practice and unit standards

Former employees of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

Only one holiday RTO request will be approved for the duration of the contract
