What You'll Do

Develop and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities that promote social, cognitive, and emotional growth in children.

Plan and execute educational curriculum, ensuring a strong foundation in early learning standards.

Build and maintain strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues through effective communication.

Ensure a healthy and safe classroom environment, adhering to all center policies and state regulations.

Maintain accurate records, files, and personal professional development plans to ensure continuous quality improvement.

Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment, prioritizing the health and well-being of children.

Communicate regularly with parents, addressing concerns and providing updates on their child's progress.
Requirements

Infant/child CPR and First Aid certification.

Must clear full background check and must pass health screening.

A strong understanding of child development.

Requirements include the ability to take frequent walks, use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools or controls, talk to and hear voices at many levels. May also be required to kneel, bend, squat or crawl.

Strong oral and written communication skills.

High energy and the ability to work well with others (staff, children, and parents) and to foster a team environment.

Two courses in early childhood education.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
