About Us:
The Santaluz Club is a beautiful, private country club in Rancho Santa Fe. We offer a variety of services at The Club that our employees get to experience. The Santaluz Club hosts golf tournaments, comedy nights, firework shows, concerts, weddings, and many more exciting events. The Food & Beverage Department is currently looking for candidates that are seeking a position as a Part Time Fine Dining Server.
The schedule for this position is Wednesday - Saturday nights with the option of Sundays.
We are looking for candidates that are self-motivated and that will maintain the positive, professional, and friendly work environment that we take pride in having here at The Santaluz Club. The candidate must be punctual, well-spoken, and have excellent customer service skills. A valid Food Handlers and RBS certification is required for this role.
Responsibilities include:
- We ask all staff to be well adept in member recognition.
- You should be able to take coursed food and drink orders from members accurately and, of course, with a friendly demeanor.
- Ensure all orders are entered sent to the kitchen correctly, noting any food preferences and allergies.
- Maintain full knowledge of the menu being served, with the ability to make food suggestions and warn of possible allergy triggers.
- Stay busy, if your section is taken care of, help a friend or do side work.
- Maintain a positive attitude, in the correct uniform, neatly pressed.
- Keep proper tools to provide good service; servers book, pens, wine key, menu knowledge.
- Successfully and positively perform within work dynamics and under pressure.
- Remain in compliance with all health and safety protocols involved in handling food.
- Coordinate with our expeditor to ensure accurate and high-quality food and service.

Skills & Experience:
- 2+ years experience in fine dining.
- Experience working with JONAS Software. (preferred, not required)
