Title: Facilities Technician/ Maintainance Technician
Duration:9 Months
Location: Peachtree City 100% On-site 30269
Basic Function: Performs general maintenance tasks for interior and exterior of the facility.
Accountabilities:
· -Performs general facility repairs.
· -Performs as the main interface to maintenance contractors (HVAC, construction, etc)
· -Patches/paints walls throughout facility as necessary.
· -Facilitates minor plumbing repairs.
· -Sets up conference rooms for meetings and special events.
· -Hangs pictures, TV monitors, white boards, Pana Boards as necessary.
· -Changes ceiling tiles, light bulbs and projector bulbs as necessary.
· -Ensures that the Facilities workshop is maintained in a clean and organized manner.
· -Performs as a key member of the HEROES safety team.
· -Develops and performs preventative maintenance programs for equipment as assigned.
· -Installs and repairs electrical apparatus such as wiring and components.
· -Repairs and maintains physical structure of buildings.
· -May install or assist in installing machinery and equipment.
· -Interprets and complies with Company policies, procedures, and regulations.
· -Will initiate, recommend, or provide solutions through designated channels.
· -Performs other related duties as assigned.
PROBLEM-SOLVING/KNOW HOW: (complexity of problems and education/experience & other knowledge required)
· Must have a high school diploma or (GED) and at least three years' experience in a maintenance related field.
· A standard technical certificate or degree in a maintenance field preferred.
· Must possess computer operational skills as required by department.
· May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
· Forklift experience/license is desired
· Must have a good understanding of building systems such as HVAC, electric, plumbing, alarm, air, and simple construction.
· Must be able to devise solutions for complex problems.
· Must have the ability to set up and operate machine tools such as lathe, grinder, welding equipment, drill, jigs and fixtures, and various hand tools.

· Must have the ability to read and to interpret schematic diagrams and mechanical drawings.
· Must have the ability to learn computer applications as necessary for the position.
· Must successfully complete any training or certification courses required to support or strengthen position.
· Must have the ability to read, interpret, and follow verbal and written instructions, work procedures and other related materials.
COMMUNICATIONS:
· Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
· Must communicate appropriate information accurately and clearly as needed.
· Must have the ability to effectively and appropriately interface and communicate with a variety of individuals or groups on a frequent basis.
Quality Procedures:
Review procedures, materials, or processes to assure compliance to all specifications and standards.
Comply with and enforce all procedures and work instructions.
Respond to quality and work issues and take corrective action as appropriate.
Has the organizational authority to identify and segregate, as necessary, suspect or non-conforming material (for example components, saleable product, specifications, controlled documents, etc.) and to notify the appropriate authority (manager, etc.) for instructions
Safety and EPA Compliance:
Maintains tools, equipment, and work areas in a neat and orderly manner and observes all work-related safety practices and procedures.
Will comply with all applicable Company safety policies, rules, and regulations.
Must comply with all Federal, State, and local environmental laws and regulations and relevant company procedures and instructions related to the environmental management system and contribute to the achievement of the relevant environmental objectives and targets established by the Company.
In addition, provides the leadership and resources for such activities as applicable.
Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
