We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Jr. Java Developer to join our dynamic software development team. Duties
- Assist in developing scalable web applications using Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and related frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue.js.
- Collaborate on designing and implementing RESTful APIs and web services utilizing technologies like WCF, SOAP, and JSON.
- Participate in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, coding, testing, debugging, and deployment.
- Support database design and management using SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB; write efficient T-SQL and PL/SQL queries.
- Contribute to front-end development efforts with UI/UX best practices using Bootstrap, TypeScript, AJAX, and XSLT.
- Engage in code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Work within Agile methodologies to deliver iterative improvements and collaborate effectively with team members using tools like GitHub, TFS, SVN, and Azure DevOps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience or internship in software development with proficiency in Java programming language.
- Familiarity with web development frameworks such as React.js, Angular, or Vue.js; experience with front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
- Knowledge of backend technologies including Java EE (Enterprise Edition), Spring Boot or similar frameworks; experience with Microservices architecture is a plus.
- Hands-on experience working with relational databases like Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL; understanding of database design principles.
- Experience with version control systems such as GitHub or SVN; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment processes.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), RESTful API design, multithreading concepts, and debugging techniques.
- Ability to work effectively within an Agile environment using tools like JIRA or TFS; excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
