Personal Injury Paralegal

Join our dedicated plaintiff-side personal injury practice where we advocate for injured clients throughout Texas. We're seeking a detail-oriented paralegal to support this office in all aspects of case management as a paralegal. The ideal candidate combines strong organizational abilities, attention to detail with exceptional client service skills and thrives in a fast-paced environment. Spanish is a very strong plus for the position.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage comprehensive plaintiff case files from intake through resolution
- Prepare and process medical record and billing requests with affidavits
- Coordinate client medical treatment and appointments
- Process lien requests and maintain lien documentation
- Draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery (answer and respond)
- Manage e-filing and electronic filing processes
- Maintain attorney calendar as required and meet critical deadlines
- Provide compassionate client communication and support
Required Qualifications
- Strong preference for candidates fluent in Spanish
- Demonstrated experience with medical record and billing requests with affidavits
- Experience in professional office environment with strong understanding of office etiquette and processes
- Must have reliable transportation/vehicle
- Familiarity with basic legal terminology and procedures is best
- Ability to carefully follow instructions and implement processes as directed consistently is imperative
- Proven ability to consistently meet deadlines in a litigation environment including maintaining a calendar
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage competing priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Self-motivated with excellent problem-solving capabilities
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in plaintiff personal injury litigation processes
- Knowledge of PI case lifecycle from client intake to settlement/trial
- Experience coordinating and monitoring client medical treatment
- Familiarity with Google Workspace applications
- Experience drafting petitions, and drafting/managing/answering incoming and outgoing discovery and motion drafting
- There are other support staff however this will be explained.
