About the Role
We are seeking a 2-15 or 2-40, licensed health insurance agent to act as a billing retention representative and provide customer service to support our Affordable Care Act (ACA) health insurance plans sales team in a high-volume call center environment. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on ACA Marketplace experience who is passionate about helping customers navigate their health insurance options and resolving billing or service-related concerns.
The right candidate is dependable, coachable, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented office setting.
Responsibilities
- Handle inbound and outbound calls in a professional and courteous manner
- Provide accurate, detailed information regarding Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace health plans
- Assist customers with health insurance plan enrollments and account updates
- Resolve billing issues and customer concerns
- Maintain and update customer records with attention to detail
- Follow compliance guidelines
- Meet or exceed individual and team performance metrics
Requirements
- 1+ year proven experience of ACA Marketplace Health Insurance experience as a licensed or previously licensed health insurance agent within a call center environment either as a sales agent or a customer service and retention representative
(Medical billing and coding specialists, health insurance verification specialists, non-licensed insurance fronters, switchboard operators, appointment setting, receptionists, retail and other customer facing roles, 2-15 or 2-40 licensed agents with no experience handling Affordable Care Act (ACA) health insurance plans, and individuals without a health insurance license do not qualify for this role and will not be considered)
- Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
- Proficiency with Office 365 and call center dialer systems
- Fluent in English; Spanish or additional languages are a plus
- Coachable team player with a positive attitude and no ego
- Punctual, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work full-time, in-office at our Delray Beach location - 9 am - 6 pm, Monday - Friday
Important Notes
- This is a full-time, in-office position (no remote work)
- Health, dental, and vision insurance are not currently offered
- No PTO or overtime without prior approval

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
