A well-established Professional Services company in southeast Kansas City is looking for an experienced Office Administrator/Accounting Manager to serve as the firm’s central operational and administrative leader. This position will report to the partners and will lead operations, finance & accounting, HR, facilities, and technology.
Responsibilities will include:
- Full cycle Accounting including payables, receivables, billing, journal entries and reconciliations, as well as month and year end close reports.
- Human resources duties including recruiting and onboarding, payroll & benefits administration, and performance reviews.
- Facility operations including office supplies, mail, storage, and maintaining vendor and insurance contacts.
- Oversee firm’s documenting and coordinate technology upgrades and licensing.
- Audit current workflows to identify opportunities for process improvement and help develop growth strategies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in operations, administration, and/or business management in a professional services office.
- Strong background in both Accounting and HR.
- Demonstrated history of process improvement.
- Outstanding communication and conflict resolution skills.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
