Journeyman Electrician JD – Irving, TX (DFW)
Pay: $35-40/hr
(Shift: 7 AM to 3:30 PM)
Performs all electrical tasks with minimal general supervision. Possess journeyman license.
- Required to have all VE Journeyman Tools (Tool list sheet)
- Project scheduling and two weeks look ahead
- JHA Documentation Reviewed and Signed
- Maintain project housekeeping
- Drawings and Specs Reading
- Material orders sent and received (Once every Two Weeks)
- Project lay outs for wall rough in
- Project lay outs for Overhead rough in
- Junction Box Make Up and Label Cover
- Device Trim Out and Label Cover
- Fixture Installation and Lay Out
- Wire Pulling (Branch and Feeder)
- Distribution Termination
- Control and Contactor Termination
- QA/QC Forms
- Daily Reports and Work Orders
- Trouble Shooting
- NEC Code Knowledge
Has knowledge of all electrical equipment and major tools. Understands the scope of the drawings and demonstrates ability to supervise others in their work performance.

- Fluent and current with NEC
- Blue print reading and interpretation

- Coordination with other trades and GC
Material Management
- Use specified material as required
- Order material in timely matter
- Recognizes material lead time
- Inventory all material
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
